Semi Happy

Author: I have been at work for the last three weeks and I have been doing okay at work. I have been getting back into the routine of things and the boat coming back soon. I’ve been pretty happy because I have been working long hours and for some reason it doesn’t make me upset. I have been frequenting the hospital as of recently because Bevvy is going through some issues. I won’t discuss them here because those are for us to know. But I did find out some other good news. I got my leave dates for mext leave period but I am currently keeping them a secret because I have a few surprises that I need to make. But all in all things are going pretty good.

Back to work….
So after being off of work for the last 3 weeks, it is time for me to shave off my facial hair that I have grown and don the unifrom of a military man. I have to go back to being up early in the days and staying late into the evening. I do know one thing though, I will not be bored for much longer. The boat is coming back soon and I will be back down on the pier standing duty and working my ass off to get her ready to go back out to sea. This patrol I get to miss my birthday but I get to have Christmas. It is a step up from last year though because we had to miss Christmas. I am ready to get back to work and do what it is that I do. I have been bored off my ass for the past 3 weeks and I’m excited to go back to work. Trying to tell my mind that is another story. It is more concerned about the things I know I am going to be doing when I get back.
Not really looking forward to the massive workload I am going to have though. I have to work on the search plan and get ready for all the maintenance items to complete and the dragging my stuff down to the boat and keeping working uniforms clean on a dirty boat and field days every week. It could be worse though. I could be broke and unemployed right now. So I am glad that I have this job and that I am re-enlisting here shortly.
So off to take a shower and lay down in bed with Bevvy.
